DAR news

National defense will be the focus of the January meeting of the St. Joseph Bay Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.  The DAR National Defense committee encourages an informed membership, and therefore an informed public, to understand issues relevant to the sovereignty and independence of our nation.

The DAR believes that a strong military is vital to American national defense and therefore members encourage others to vote, communicate with government officials, promote strong principles in education, and unwaveringly support the Constitution of the United States, the patriotic values of our country, and the military men and women who serve the nation.

Members will meet at the Sunset Coastal Grill at 12 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Jan. 22 for lunch and meeting.
Anyone interested in attending the meeting, please call Sherrill Russ, 229-8574.
