Events at Gulf County Senior Citizens

Gulf County Senior Citizens located at 120 Library Drive in Port St. Joe would like to invite the public to join them from 10 a.m. until noon ET Tuesday, Feb. 5 for Dancing to the Oldies by D.J. Frances Markham. Folks can listen and dance to the music of the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and current hits. Members of the Panama City 55-plus Club will be on hand to demonstrate the cha-cha, line dances, bop and shag and much more. This event is open to the public and donations are needed and appreciated.

Other events at the center include gospel singing, weekly blood pressure checks, exercise class, bingo, arts and crafts and educational programs. On the fourth Tuesday of each month an Alzheimer’s Support group meets from 2-3 p.m. ET.

The center serves hot nutritional meals each day at noon to seniors 60 and older and donations are accepted. The center is open 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday.
