Events at the Gulf County Senior Citizens

Gulf County Senior Citizens, located at 120 Library Drive in Port St. Joe, invites the public to join them from 10 a.m. until noon ET on Tuesday, April 2 for Dancing to the Oldies by D.J. Frances Markham. Listen and dance to music from the ‘70s, ‘80s, ‘90s and current hits. Members of the Panama City 55+ Club will be present to demonstrate the cha-cha, line dances, bop and shag and much more. Open to the public, donations are needed and appreciated.

Other events at the center include gospel singing, weekly blood pressure checks, exercise class, bingo, arts and crafts and educational programs. From 2 -3 p.m. ET on the fourth Tuesday of each month an Alzheimer’s Support group meets at the Senior Center. The Center serves a hot nutritional meal each day at noon for seniors 60 and over, donations accepted. The Center is open 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday.
