WHS Class of 2010 Hosts Apalachicola River Flathead Catfish Tournament

The WHS Class of 2010 will be hosting a flathead catfish tournament on June 26 and 27 out of Gaskin Park Landing in Wewahitchka.  Registration will run from 9 a.m. until midnight CT on Friday the 26th.   The entry fee is $50 per person if postmarked by June 22 and $55 the day of the tournament.  The tournament will begin at 4 p.m. on Friday and conclude at noon on Saturday.  An awards presentation will follow. The largest flathead will bring in $1,000, second largest $500, third largest $400, fourth largest $300, and fifth largest $200.  The boat with the most poundage will receive $250.  For more information call Don Minchew at 639-2605.
