Tee it up at the Sizzler

On August 14 and 15, St. Joseph Bay Golf Club will host the 54-hole Summer Sizzler Team Championship Golf Tournament.

Sponsored by Must See Magazine and the Gulf County Tourist Development Council, this exciting event features three rounds of team competition in both gross and net divisions.

An 8:30 am shotgun start on Saturday kicks off the tourney, followed by a 2nd round shotgun start at 1:30 pm the same day. The 3rd round begins with another shotgun start at 1:30 pm Sunday. Two-player teams will play a Rd. 1 Select-Shot, Rd. 2 Scotch, and Rd. 3 Best Ball.

Everyone is welcome to play the Summer Sizzler, and entry fees are $350 per team ($290 for members of St. Joseph Bay Golf Club).  Entry fees will include cart rental and green fees for 54 holes, lunch  on Saturday, range balls, a goodie bag, and participation in on-course contests. Both professionals and amateurs are invited to compete, and  teams must declare gross or net division upon registration (pros must  play gross division). The field is limited to the first 44 registered  teams. Entry forms may be picked up at the SJBGC Pro Shop or downloaded  from www.mustseemagazine.com.

Great prizes await winners in both gross and net divisions, a team skins game, and low-round bets for each 18-hole round. On-course contests keep things interesting throughout the weekend.
