Lady Tiger Sharks Split
On Tuesday, Sept. 30, the Lady Bulldogs of Liberty County came to the dome. Except for one game of the four played in this match, the Lady Tiger Sharks played together as a tough team. Unfortunately, the Lady Bulldogs won the match 3 games to 1. The game scores were 21-25, 25-22, 12-25 and 23-25. The Lady Tiger Sharks showed a vastly improved serving percentage in this match with only 10 errors in 82 serves. Mariah Johnson had 37 attacks on the ball with 18 kills for the match and Kaelyn Williams had 20 assists.
Thursday, October 2, had the Lady Tiger Sharks on the road again. This time they were at Franklin County to play the vastly improved Lady Seahawks. Again, the Ladies went to four games in the match. This time however, the Lady Tiger Sharks were victorious by a margin of 3-1. The game scores were 24-26, 25-11, 27-25, and 25-14. Mariah Johnson again led the offense with 12 kills for the match. Ashleigh Lewis, Fanequa Larry, and Natasha Allen each had five service aces. Kaelyn Willimas had 15 assists. The second match of these two teams will be this evening in the Dome at 5 p.m. for Junior Varsity team. The Varsity Ladies will start their match approximately 20 minutes following the completion of the JV match. Come out and support the Lady Tiger Sharks!
