Megan Walker Sets National Pole Vault Record

Megan Walker is the new record holder in the Youth Pole Vault at the AAU Club Nationals. Megan jumped 10'0" for the record and National title at Disney's Wide World of Sports on July 3.
This win qualified Megan for the 2008 AAU Junior Olympic Games in Detroit, Michigan July 27-August 2. Megan is double qualified this year after winning the AAU Florida State Title in Youth Pole Vault on June 29th in Winter Park, FL. Megan jumped 10'6" for the win and record.
Megan is excited to be returning for the second time to the AAU Junior Olympics. Last year Megan secured her 1st national title in Knoxville, Tennessee with a jump of 9'0". Megan will be heading for Detroit at the end of this month and will compete August 2.
