The Dancing for Books Committee will host the second Valentine’s Day Dinner event at 6:30 p.m. ET Saturday, Feb. 13 at the Centennial Building.

The annual event raises funds for the citizen support organization the Friends of the Library, which makes purchases on behalf of the Corrine Costin Gibson Memorial Public Library in Port St. Joe and the Charles Whitehead Public Library in Wewahitchka.

This year’s theme, Sea of Love, invites couples for a night of dinner and drinks, paired with silent and live auctions for more than 60 different items including group meals, original art, fishing charters and more.

Music for the event will be supplied by the Bo Spring Band. Guests will enjoy dancing, dinner from Sister’s Café, a wine toss game and a cash bar.

Tickets to the event can be purchased at the No Name Café Books and More in Port St. Joe, both public libraries and at the door for $30 each.

For more information call Dancing For Books committee members Nancy Swider at 227-3600 or Dana Boyer at 227-3777.
