The Scouts of Troop 347 would like to take this time to thank everyone who help make the Port Theatre “Creep Show Haunted House” a success. First we would like to say thank you to the Gulf County Chamber of Commerce and Ms. Ronnie Coppock for asking our Troop to put on the event and having the confidence in our ability pull off this event, Ms. Lorinda Gingell for helping with the advertisement of this event and donations of some much needed decorations and to the Gulf County TDC for advertising the event as well. A special thank tou to The Port Theatre Art and Cultural Center and Ms. Natalie Shoaf for allowing us to use the famous Port Theatre, Tim Croft of The Star newspaper for his never-ending support of both our Pack and Troop.
The Troop would also like to recognize the following folks who helped with making this a success with all the hard work and hours put in on construction, decorations and participation from the beginning to end. They are Jamie Richardson, Ken Daves, Quinn Dickey, JJ and Gal Gainer, Diann Farnsley, Christi, Riley Wingate, Henry Balogh, Eva Varnes, Fisher Van Der Tulip, Braden Jackson, Leland Whitlock, Katie, Joe Youngs for a smoke machine, Kadin Smith and Leonard Costin.
Last but not least to the residents of Port St Joe who came out and tried our Haunted House and who helped raise much needed food for our local food pantry, we hope you enjoyed it and we hope to return next year with an even better show for your Halloween holiday.
