Four Gulf County girls have been named to the Florida Athletic Coaches Association (FACA) all-District team.

Four Gulf County girls have been named to the Florida Athletic Coaches Association (FACA) all-District team.

One of them, Port St. Joe Jr./Sr. High School junior guard Teiyahna Hutchinson, is also nominated for Class 1A Player of the Year and the Florida Dairy Farmers all-class Player of the Year.

Port St. Joe coach Kenny Parker was named district Coach of the Year.

Joining Hutchinson on the all-District are teammates Halie Jasinski and Brooklyn Quinn along with Wewahitchka’s ShaMario Cole.

County players were also well-represented on the district all-Academic team, with Briana Bailey, Anna Setterich and Aleah Wooten from Wewahitchka Jr./Sr. High School joined by Javia Patterson of Port St. Joe.

Jasinski was also named the MVP among district seniors.
