The Supporters of St Vincent National Wildlife Refuge will host their Annual Meeting at the Apalachicola Community Center in Battery Park from 1-3 p.m. ET on March 5. Lunch is included for members.
This marks the 10th Anniversary of the friends’ group.
Come celebrate the “Past, Present and Future” vision of the refuge and friends’ group with guest speaker, Dan Frisk, leader of the North Florida Refuge Complex which includes Lower Suwannee, Cedar Keys, St. Marks and St Vincent National Wildlife Refuges.
Learn about the importance of this uninhabited barrier island for threatened and endangered species such as red wolves, sea turtles and migratory birds and how to you might become involved.
