WoodmenLife Chapter 913 of Port St Joe , local residents and visitors helped fight hunger in our community by donating much-needed food for area families. The Food Drive was held on Aug. 11 at the local Piggly Wiggly. The food was given to the local Food Pantry to help in their mission to distribute healthy meals to families across the region.
“WoodmenLife chapters across the country share a commitment to giving back to the community,” said Carol Dixon, president of Chapter 913. “We made fighting hunger our National Community Focus in 2015, and we continue to be dedicated to this cause. We are proud to partner with the local Food Pantry to help provide food for families in need.”
