There are jobs being filled in several areas of the county.

CareerSource Gulf Coast is seeking to fill 50 positions and has been taking applications at the Washington Recreation Center at 401 Peters Street in Port St. Joe.

Those workers will be divvied up among the county, both cities and the school district.

Work should begin in early November.

Additionally, McDonald's is seeking to fill 10 positions.

Owners of the local McDonald's had intended to remodel their store in December and will move up that remodeling in the wake of Hurricane Michael.

The drive-thru will remain open during that remodeling.

Also on the jobs front, True North has set up at Port St. Joe City Hall and is filling positions for observers during the debris removal phase of discovery.

The pay is $15 an hour and the job entails observing and documenting debris removal.

Applicants must have their own vehicle and a valid driver's license.
