Mr. Ronald Clayton “Ronnie” Raffield, 75, of Port St. Joe, FL, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018 in Port St Joe. Ronnie was born at home in Highland View to the late Capt. Carl and Laura Raffield. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Port St. Joe.

Ronnie was a lifelong commercial fisherman and a founding member of Raffield Fisheries, Inc. in Port St. Joe, FL. Ronnie loved fishing, crabbing and cookouts with his family and friends. Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Carl Eugene Raffield.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Raffield; two sons, Tommy Humphrey and wife Stephanie, Bink Norton and wife Kim; one daughter, Heather Sheppard and husband Al; two brothers, Harold Raffield and wife Sandra, Danny Raffield and wife JoAnn; grandchildren, Trey and Kayla Humphrey, Thomas and Rachel Allen, Zane Sweazy, Savannah and Chase Ford, Brooklyn Sheppard, Alyson Sheppard and Andrew Sheppard, Lexi Combs; great-grandchildren, Clayton Humphrey, Karsen Humphrey, Aiden Humphrey, Austen Allen and Aneyha Allen; brothers-in-law, Perky White and wife Johanna White, Scott White and wife Amelia, Johnny White and wife Judy, Mike White; many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. EST at Oak Grove Assembly of God Church with Rev. Scott White and Bro. Dave Fernandez officiating. Interment followed in Pleasant Rest Cemetery.

The following gentlemen served as pall bearers: Chris King, Jason White, Zane Sweazy, Trey Humphrey, Greg Rutland, Bink Norton, Chase Ford, Daniel Raffield, Daniel Bronson, Larry Branch and Tommy King.
