As of Thursday, Gulf County residents have received more than 750 loan approvals for $44.5 million regarding Hurricane Michael damages, according to the Small Business Administration. Those loans cover 682 homes for $37.4 million, 61 businesses for $6.4 million, and 8 economic injury loans for $604,000. Although the physical disaster loan deadline has passed, applicants have until the end of this month to complete the forms, due to a grace period. Afterwards, a letter justifying the delay needs to be submitted.
