George Norton Kilbourn 75, of Port St. Joe, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2019. After graduation from Port St. Joe High School he enlisted in the US Navy during the Viet Nam war. He was employed by an international company and spent many years in Belgium, Trinidad and other locations until his retirement. He shall be remembered by his kindness, generosity and sense of humor by his loving family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, James Pickett Kilbourn and Kate Wood Kilbourn; brother, Charles Vincent Kilbourn; and nephews, Christopher, Kim, James, Charles and Mark. He is survived by his sisters, Ida K. Brady, Eda Ruth Taylor, Eva Margaret White and Mary K. Chambliss (Robert); brother, James Max Kilbourn; nephews, Kevin Brady, Brad Kilbourn, Michael Kilbourn, Tim Taylor, Jay Taylor, Andy Chambliss and Adam Chambliss; nieces Dr. Kathleen Brady, Elizabeth Hitt and Stephanie Powell. He will also be missed by his extended family and many friends.
Graveside services were held at Holly Hill Cemetery on Monday, April 22 at 11 a.m. conducted by Father Jerry Huft. Services were under the direction of Comforter Funeral Home.
