Lisa Marie Brammer, age 57, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family after a three-year battle with cancer. She was the wife of Hobert Brammer. They had two sons: Dalton Brammer, age 20, and David Dennington, age 30. Lisa was born on August 15, 1962 in Mattoon, Illinois. She was the daughter of Leonard and Wanda Stabler. Lisa graduated Mattoon High School and later went on to own and operate a successful business known as "Old Maid by the Bay." Lisa belonged to Beach Baptist Chapel in St. Joe Beach. She professed her faith in Jesus Christ and was baptized as a young girl during church camp in Mattoon. Lisa enjoyed laughing with her family, taking their dog Missy for rides on the beach on their golf cart, and being a mother to not only her sons, but to countless others that knew her as their second Mom. She will be remembered for her smile that no one could resist, an infectious laugh, her huge loving heart and her courageous spirit. She is survived by her husband, Hobert Brammer; sons, Dalton Brammer and David Dennington; three brothers, Brad Stabler, Mark Stabler, John Stabler; two sisters, Marilyn Savely and Kathy Nelson. Lisa was also blessed with two grandchildren, four nephews, and one niece. She was preceded in death by her parents: Leonard and Wanda Stabler, brother, Danny Stabler and son, Joshua Milo Patrick. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
