Shot @ Life
Oct. 1 through Nov. 12 we will be advocating for the US Representatives not to cut the budget to funding and that every child deserves vaccines. We all need to let our Congressional offices know that funding for global vaccines is a priority. Get a Shot Give a Shot® is a campaign that has helped to provide more than 34 million lifesaving vaccines to children in developing countries. For every flu shot or other immunization administered at a Walgreens pharmacy, Walgreens will help provide a vaccine to a child in need through the United Nations Foundation’s Shot@Life campaign. On Oct. 1, seven GFWC Wewahitchka Woman’s Club Members (pictured) met at Walgreens for their flu shot to help provide a vaccine to a child in need and to raise awareness for World Polio Day, World Pneumonia Day.
