Heart disease awareness

GFWC Wewahitchka Woman’s Club held its third annual Wear Red Day event on Feb. 7. Dressed in red, club members went to Golden Dragon in Wewahitchka and for those who could not attend lunch, we went to dinner in Port St. Joe at Pepper’s. We wore red to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease and save lives. Heart disease is the number one killer of women in America. Take action today by learning more about your risk for heart disease and stroke.

If you would like to learn more about all the exciting programs and projects we do in support of our community, visit our Facebook page, GFWC Wewahitchka Woman’s Club and join us at our regular monthly meeting, the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. CT at the Glad Tidings Church Fellowship Hall in Wewahitchka.
