The Corinne Costin Gibson Memorial Library in Port St. Joe decided to have one last go-around for its popular Tuesdays at Two lecture series.
The library has added an additional speaker to its program lineup, with local Captain Phil Cox of Phil’s Charter Service speaking at 2 p.m. ET Tuesday to help attendees increase their odds of a better catch on St Joe Bay.
Knowing where to fish and the mental aspects of fishing are critical to angling success because 90 percent of the fish are located in 10 percent of the water, and 10 percent of the fisherman catch 90 percent of the fish—because they know where to fish.
In addition to tips, Captain Phil will demonstrate how to tie his two favorite fishing knots. Captain Phil fishes St Joe Bay, East Bay, and the Intercoastal Waterway and feels truly blessed to do what he loves every day.
The Tuesdays at Two lecture series is free and open to the public—and is made possible with support from the Friends of the Gulf County Public Libraries.
In addition to the lecture, the library will host a performance by the Ukulele Orchestra of St. Andrews 1 p.m. ET Saturday.
