On the list of landmarks in Gulf County, the Indian Pass Raw Bar fell mighty close to the top before Hurricane Michael.

The hurricane wiped it from the landscape.

But after a long rebuild, which Jimmy McNeil promised from the outset, the restaurant returned to the list of landmarks last week with an official grand re-opening.

At high noon, suitable, last Thursday, the Indian Pass Raw Bar and a large gathering were blessed from Rev. Geoffrey Lentz and a ribbon-cutting to spotlight that the restaurant is back in business, along with its tradition of self-serve beverages and laid-back vibe.

As the first two customers, Carol and Phil Dohmen, said, “This is a landmark moment.” --- Tim Croft
