State numbers continue to grow, but for the Florida Panhandle, any increases over the weekend were small.

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the state of Florida increased to 31,528 on Sunday, the Florida Department of Health said in its daily report. That’s an increase of 689 over the previous day’s report.


Also on Saturday, the death toll for the entire state increased to 1,074, an increase of 19 over Saturday.


No big gains were reported in the Daily News and News Herald coverage area for Saturday.

-Santa Rosa: 149, an increase of two over Saturday.


-Okaloosa: 149, the same number as Saturday.


-Walton: 35, the same number as Saturday.


-Bay: 65, an increase of two over Saturday.


-Gulf: 1, the same number as Saturday.


-Franklin: 2, the same number as Saturday.


-Holmes: 9, the same number as Saturday.


-Washington: 12, the same number as Saturday.
