As the summer months approach, there are options for a child’s learning, growth and development in response to the COVID-19 health emergency.

Summer VP options
1. Summer VPK: Summer VPK program with a minimum of 200 hours (public schools and public providers). To register for a class visit the Family Portal at https://familyservices.floridaearlylearning.com
2. Reenrollment in Summer VPK: Given that a state of emergency was declared, students who have not substantially completed the 2019-2020 school year program, meaning that child was enrolled for less than 70 percent or 378 hours, can reenroll into a 2020 Summer VPK program.
3. VPK Specialized Instructional Support (SIS): VPK SIS is an option for children with disabilities who have a current Individualized Education Plan (IEP) where certified or licensed professionals provide instruction or therapy in individual or small-group settings outside of traditional classroom setting.
