David had a huge heart and never met a stranger. He had a smile that was contagious and was loved by many. David passed away just one week after the anniversary of Hurricane Michael. He was so proud to help others after the storm and was so impressed how the community came together to help their fellow man. He dearly loved St. Joe Beach. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Port St. Joe and was a previous president of the FUMC Men’s Club and the FUMC Choir- both gave him such joy.

David was husband to Nancy Willman Yarbrough and father to his son, Tyler Reid Yarbrough, whom he loved with all his heart and soul. He always said the creation of Reid was his best achievement.

One of his favorite sayings was “Rise Above It.”
