Minnie Ola Pridgeon McDaniel, 98, of Wewahitchka, Florida, passed away surrounded by love; in the comfort of her home on February 1, 2020.

Minnie Ola retired from Haney and Associates insurance agency after 50 years of service. She loved to fish and travel; but most of all she loved her family and friends, who cherish memories of gathering around her table for Sunday dinners after church. The laughter of her stories can still be heard.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Thomas McDaniel, grandson, Tranum, father and mother, Ed and Emily Pridgeon, five brothers, Edward, Jack, Harland, Sam, and John Henry; two sisters Alma Lee and Micah.

She is survived by her five children, Ward (Lesia), Penny, Terry (Pam), Dixie, Larkin (Angie), 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; special friend, Joan Duke and loving caregiver Deneise Baker.

A celebration of Minnie Ola’s life was held Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at 2 p.m. CST at Glad Tidings Assembly of God in Wewahitchka, Florida, with the Rev. Dr. Jeremy Pridgeon, the Reverend Joey Smith, and the Reverend Derrick Gerber officiating. The family received friends one hour prior to the service. Interment followed at Jehu Cemetery.
