Mr. James “Pete” White, 68, of Port St. Joe, FL, went to join his Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, April 2, 2020. He was born on September 30, 1951 in Rome, GA. Pete retired from the City of Port St. Joe after 30 years of service. After retirement he went on to establish the charter fishing boat “Reel Fun” where he ran many charter fishing trips for 10 year on the waters of St. Joe Bay, Indian Pass and Crooked Island. He truly loved these fishing charters. He was a great friend to many and loved by all. Pete is survived by his wife, Ima Jean White; two daughters, Jessica Ann White and Monica Lynn Dotson (Rob); three granddaughters, Haleigh McDaniel, Miranda Burkett and Courtney Knox (Chris); two great-grandchildren, Tripp Harden and Nellie Knox.
