The Joe Center for the Arts will host a special presentation for Black History Month remembering the Montgomery, AL bus boycott.

In partnership with the Gulf County United Community Development Corporation, the presentation, “Let No Man Pull You Down”, is a re-enactment featuring Rosa Parks and 33 other diverse and famous people of color.

The presentation will be held 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. ET Friday, Feb. 28 at The Joe Center for the Arts located at 201 Reid Ave. in Port St. Joe.

This is an audience-participation event so the Center will be seeking 33 volunteers to take on various roles. A script and props will be provided.

There will be a reception afterwards with tons of delicious soul food, door prizes and time to visit and reflect.
